The Exerpeutic 100XL Manual Treadmill provides eight levels of magnetic resistance and three incline angles for a great running or walking workout from the comfort of home. Designed to fit easily into smaller spaces, the 100XL features an easy to operate folding design and is equipped with transport wheels so that you can move it in and out of a corner, or from room to room. The manually operated treadmill uses tension-pacer-controlled, magnetic resistance for safe, hands-free use that allows you to run or walk. Thanks to seven-inch twin flywheels, the 100XL provides a smoother, quieter, and more consistent workout in contrast to single flywheel manual treadmills. The 100XL also provides a wider and longer walk/run surface than other manual treadmills.
Designed to help you track and achieve your fitness goals, the 100XL comes with a fitness computer with an LCD display window that monitors and displays your time, distance, calories, speed, and heart rate as you work out. Built-in heart pulse monitor pads make it easy to track your progress. The track begins at a low, 8 percent incline angle to prevent strain on ankle and leg muscles, and can be adjusted to a 10 or 15 percent incline angle for greater challenge. By Derek
I was skeptical about a manual treadmill at first, but I took the plunge and decided to buy it, and I'm glad that I did! It was well packaged, no missing parts, nice build quality. My only issues were how stiff it was at first to get some bolts in, like the safety handle knobs. Also, the magnetic resistance knob was tight, but after working the mechanism up and down a few times at the base (near the belt) while turning the knob, it was working like normal. A few little tweaks and I was on my way. Having the multiple levels of resistance and incline is great, and I can walk or run on it. No issues, great product for the price, and I'm happy with the purchase.

By Ohio River Bob
I had great hopes for this manual magnetic treadmill, but they went unrealized, mainly due to a defective magnetic tension setting control. It stayed on the highest setting no matter how low I tried to set it. I'm a 72 year old male fitness walker and occasional jogger, can cover 4 miles of hills or more easily, but couldn't do this setting for 10 minutes! More minor was the belt slipping to the side and not responding to the solution in the manual. Finally, the knobbed bolt to lock the the stablzer and manin frame in a secure postion didn't line up. Since the plates with the holes were welded on, that was unfixable. I called the manufacturer's customer service and was told that there wasn't a fix for the tension control. On a happier note thanks to Amazon, even though I'd destroyed the box getting the treadmill out, return shipping will only cost me the price of a box. This was the first item I'd purchased with only one review, so my advise is that if you can't try out an item, especially equipment, at least go with one that has plenty of reviews. Now, if it'll stop raining, I'll be outside walking.

By Reality
It was one of the cheapest things out there, so I assumed it would be really simple and cheaply built: and that's what I got. There's a screw that goes into the left side (view from top) that looks like it melted or something so it doesn't fit properly even though it's meant to keep the thing from folding when someone is on it. The knob for the tension works, but there's no change in tension. Otherwise, it's small enough to fit practically anywhere, and does what it's supposed to do, which is let you get a workout or a run without having to go outside. If you'd rather save money over an excellent quality product, I'd say this is it. Good, sturdy, to the point product - nothing special.
