By J. P.
The Good:
Build Quality: The unit is made of a plastic casing with metal feet. Overall it feels very sturdy, strong and durable.
Assembly: The unit goes together quite quickly. Six screws and washers are installed using an included wrench. The pedals screw in and are tightened with another included wrench. Took less than 2 minutes to assemble and begin using the machine.
Neutral:
Weight: The unit is pretty heavy weighting at 20lbs. There is a handle built on the front for moving from place to place but you may get more exercise from lifting the unit vs. using it.
The Bad:
Resistance: This pedal bike is not for those who are expecting much resistance. Perhaps I received a defective unit, but from the low level to the high level; there is literally no difference in the amount of resistance you receive while peddling.
Display/Counter: Perhaps that I received a defective unit, but the counter, specifically dealing with the distance covered, does not seem to keep accurate count. After using the unit for nearly 20 minutes at a rapid pace it is still saying the distance covered is only 1/10 mile which cannot be accurate. Additionally the RPM counter is consistently showing 0 even at a rapid pace.
Overall, I do appreciate the quality build of this exerciser. However, I'm disappointed at the issues I have had with the unit. With so few reviews to compare my experience to I'm uncertain if this is typical or not. I give the unit 3 stars for quality but -2 stars for the issues I found with it. I will be returning my unit.

By Losagin
We got this for my wife, who is disabled. She started out on the lower setting for a short time, and has increased the resistance and time over the last month. It seems to be doing what we wanted, and she's using it every day (something we both have a problem with. ie: get it, use it for a week, then forget it!).
Assembly was more than easy, took less than ten minutes.
Only drawback is the screen is hard to see unless you use a flashlight, and I have to do that for her due to limited mobility. We use an oven timer on the table.

By David Nissen
I have used the Mini Bike and have found the magnetic tension does not meet my expectation. It does not apply enough resistance to be considered an exercise.
